About Quick Tools

Quick Tools is a collection of fast, single-purpose developer utilities designed to get out of your way. Whether you are formatting text, converting images, or calculating hashes, the goal is to provide a seamless experience without distractions. Currently, the platform features over 20 tools across categories including developers, text, converters, calculators, image, video, and generators.

Privacy-First Philosophy

When you paste sensitive JSON, tokens, or personal text into a web utility, you need to trust where that data goes. With Quick Tools, the answer is simple: it goes nowhere.

Everything you type or upload runs entirely in the client browser and is never sent anywhere. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no tracking. This isn't just a promise in a privacy policy—it is a structural guarantee. Quick Tools is built as a static export, meaning there is no backend server to process or store your data. If any server-side code is introduced, the build literally fails.

A small number of tools do fetch public data directly from a third-party API when that's the only way to do the job—for example, the YouTube Thumbnail Downloader fetches images and titles from YouTube. Nothing you enter is ever part of those requests. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.

The Creator

Quick Tools is a passion project built by Sachintha Gunaratne. It started as a way to consolidate various scattered utilities into one fast, reliable, and privacy-respecting toolbox.
